[She's half expecting to just run into him and bounce back into the snow. It's a price she's willing to pay to say she charged right on in with a full bodied attack. What she isn't expecting and probably should have, is for him to slip.
It's when his arm is around her and they're both falling that she realizes this was a very bad idea. She gasps in alarm, pressing her hand against his shoulder.
